The ceramic manufacturing process we adopt is traditional slip casting which has proved to be the most effective method of producing the highest quality porous filter for purifying drinking water over the last two hundred years. The use of the most advanced and ecology conscious technologically controlled casting, drying and firing equipment that we ensure controlled quality and performance that surpasses the strict requirements of the World Health Organization & Drinking Water Safety and Quality Standards. The genuine ceramic filter elements are produced using the latest ceramic techniques which are fired at a temperature in excess of 1,000 degrees Celsius.
Stage 1 Filtration System
Ceramic Filter - Provide effective treatment to reduce harmful bacteria such as typhoid, bilharzias & amoebas and chemical contaminates, remove rust, sediment and suspended solids, chlorine taste, unpleasant odor. 0.3 micron filtration absolute and is washable.
Stage 2 Filtration System
Nano KDF - The water treated with bio-ceramic is rich in ionic minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium. In which would break water into smaller molecule clusters and improve body metabolism, increase body resistant as well. At the same time increasing dissolved oxygen content in the water for our body need. Finally KDF 55 was designed specifically for removing or reducing chlorine and water-soluble heavy metals.
Stage 3 Filtration System
High Quality Activated Carbon - Efficient in removing pollutants such as residual chlorine, unpleasant odor, organic compounds, colors, heavy metals (e.g. copper, lead, mercury & etc), Trihalomethanes (THMS), methyl tertiary butyl ethers (MTBES) and other chemicals by absorption. It made with superior materials to ensure that water is filtered pure & cleaner
Laboratory test done by professional show's that water coming out from our faucet contains Low to High concentration of Cadmium, Chromium, Cooper and Lead in it. This will happen whether or not your house is using an outdoor industrial class filter, it is because that, most of the heavy metal contaminants is already in your house water tank and piping system. An un-clean water tank will promote the grow of bacteria and cysts if it is left un-maintained, while the system inside the water tank corrode and make's your house water quality goes way down below your expectation.
Another source of water contamination by heavy metal is your house water piping system, most houses build in the early days uses metal pipes while newer house uses plastic pipes plus metal pipe hybrid build. By using E-Plus Ceramic Faucet Water Purifier, you can give your water a last chance to filter it before washing, cooking, drinking with it. Reducing the risk of using contaminants water. Our ceramic filter is user friendly, easy to maintain, excellent filtration and affordable price. Get your E-Plus Ceramic Faucet Water Filter and start drinking safe.
Common Contaminants In Water
In order to be sure which contaminants your water contains, it is best to get a sample of your water professionally tested in a laboratory.
Commonly occurring, potentially harmful contaminants in mains water around the world include:
- - Pathogenic Bacteria
- - Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and other cysts
- - Chlorine (taste & odor)
- - Lead
Common pathogenic bacteria found in water supplies include:
- - E-coli
- - Salmonella
- - Legionella
- - Cholera
- - Salmonella Typhi (Typhoid)
- - Shigella
- - Klebsiella
These bacteria are not often found in chlorinated mains water supplies, but are often found in unchlorinated private water supplies, and stored water. Stored water, whether it is in a water tank or a bottle, is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. It does not take long for the bacteria to multiply sufficiently to reach infective dose (disease causing) levels.
Pathogenic bacteria are responsible for many of the common types of potentially fatal water-borne disease around the world. E-plus water filters have been proven by independent laboratory testing to be highly effective against pathogenic bacteria.
|Bacteria||% Reduction||Illness Caused||Symptoms|
|Salmonella typhus||>99.9%||Typhoid Fever||Fever, headaches, apathy, weakness, abdominal pain, and a rose colored skin rash.|
|Shigella||>99.9%||Shigellosis or Bacterial Dysentery||Abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea, mucus and blood in excreta.|
|Vibrio cholera||>99.9%||Cholera||Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, severe dehydration followed by collapse, shock and in many cases death|
|Klebsiella Tarragona||>99.9%||Gastroenterocolitis||Diarrhea and abdominal cramps|
|E-coli||>99.9%||Gastroenterocolitis||Diarrhea and abdominal cramps|
CRYPTOSPORIDIUM, GIARDIA, AND OTHER CYSTS:
Water-borne cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia are very common in water supplies all over the world. These cysts are particularly worrying because:
They can be found in human and animal faeces, so it is relatively easy for them to find their way into water supplies.They have a low infective dose. In other words, you do not have to ingest many cysts to become ill.They can cause problems of the stomach and digestive tract, including potentially life-threatening diarrhea.They are resistant to chlorine and other chemicals, so traditional water treatment methods are not sufficient to guard against them.They can survive for long periods in the environment.
The simplest and best way to get rid of cysts is by using absolute filtration of less than 1 micron (1 thousandth of a millimeter).
CHLORINE (TASTE & ODOUR):
In many areas of the world, chlorine is added to mains water in the treatment works in order to disinfect the water and minimize bacteria growth in the water distribution network. Chlorine is extremely effective at killing bacteria, but unfortunately there are a number of drawbacks to its use:The dead bacteria are NOT removed from the water. Most people would not like the idea of swallowing large numbers of micro organisms, whether or not they are dead.Chlorine can react with organics in the water to produce trihalomethanes (THMs). These are known carcinogens (i.e. they can cause cancer).It has an unpleasant taste.
Activated carbon is the best way to remove chlorine.
RUST & OTHER PARTICLES:
The source of rust particles in water is usually old iron pipe work, which is especially common in places with mains supplies dating back many years.
Other particles of numerous types commonly found in mains water come from the pipes used to transport the water and from the original source. The size and number of these particles depends very much on the nature of the water source and of the water distribution network. Despite the best efforts of the water treatment companies there is likely to be some particulate contamination in mains water, even if it is not visible to the naked eye.
Independent testing has verified that E-Plus water filters effectively remove >99.99% of particulate; that is, 0.9 microns or larger, and 99.9% of particulate in the range of 0.5 to 0.8 microns is reduced. For water with heavy particle contamination, a pre-filter should be fitted before the ceramic filter. This will prevent premature clogging of the ceramic filter.
The very harmful effects of lead especially for children and pregnant women are well known. It can cause mental and physical retardation, behavioral problems, and learning difficulties in children. In adults, too much lead can cause high blood pressure, strokes, and heart disease. In men it can adversely affect sperm counts.
Lead does not tend to be present naturally in water supplies. It leaches into water from lead pipes in older houses, and from lead solder used to join other types of metal pipes in newer houses. Even very small quantities are harmful.

Ceramic Filter Cartridge FAQ
Q: What is the usage Ceramic filter cartridge?
A: Ceramic filter cartridge is an inexpensive and effective type of water filter, to facilitate on the small pore size of ceramic material to filter dirt, debris, and bacteria out of water.
Q: In ceramic filter cartridge, what is the method is use in filter?
A: As with most filtration methods, water is carefully introduced to one side of the filter, which acts to block the passage of anything larger than a water molecule. Only water and smaller contaminants will pass through to the other "clean" side of the filter. Additionally many ceramic water filters (CWF) should be treated with silver, which is in a form that will not leach away. The silver helps to kill or incapacitate bacteria and prevent the growth of mold and algae in the body of the filter.
Q: Is there any replacement for this filter?
A: definitely, just order or email us.
Q: Does filter remove chemical contaminants?
A: This filtration type does not remove chemical contaminants per se. However, some manufacturers incorporate a high-performance activated carbon core inside the ceramic filter cartridge that reduces organic & metallic contaminants.
