Aojiro Juice Presso:

Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso is a juice extractor that uses the patented Low Speed Technology System (LSTS). It is called a "Slow Juicer" because it operates at only 80 RPM and uses a mere 150 Watts of energy, instead of 1,000-24,000 RPM and up to 1,500 Watts of energy like a typical centrifugal "High Speed" juicer. But don't let the name fool you. The Slow Juicer actually juices faster than most typical juicers and expels much drier pulp with a much higher yield.

The method of extraction is masticating and pressing, using the screw-like auger like a mortar and pestle. The action crushes and presses the food, releasing its deep-seated nutrients and enzymes. It also breaks up more of the phytonutrients, resulting in a richer colored juice that retains more vitamins and minerals. The slow RPM ensures that it does not disrupt the cellular structure of fruits and vegetables, eliminating oxidation and separation. A: Although similar to a blender, a juicer is not quite the same. Blenders can be used to make smoothies and other blended drinks which retain all the parts of the fruit or vegetable, while a juicer extracts juice and leaves much of the fiber of the produce behind. 

Q: What’s the best way to prepare vegetables for juicing in the Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso?

A: We recommend preparing your vegetables by washing or scrubbing them thoroughly and cutting them into a size so that the pieces will just fall through the feeder chute without needing to be pushed down. For instance chop carrots into ½” discs and all other root vegetables such as beetroot to a similar size.

Q: What’s the best way to prepare fruits for juicing in the Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso?

A: Ensure you cut pieces into a size that will easily drop down the feeder chute. Remove skins from citrus fruits.

Q: How long can I keep a freshly made Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso juice?

A: There’s no specific answer to this as there are too many variables based on type of produce and storage method. We do recommend drinking your Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso juices immediately to enjoy maximum taste and nutritional benefits. 
However, if necessary you can refrigerate juices: fruit juices tend to last longer from a taste perspective: 24-48 hours. For vegetable juice, unless you have vacuum storage containers we’d advise 12 hours maximum. Fresh juice generally should be consumed freshly made. We've refrigerated nut milks for 3 days with good results.

Q: What’s the best way to clean the Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso?

A: We suggest buying a long handled dish washing brush with firm bristles and cleaning the Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso immediately after juicing under a warm running tap. You will most likely find following this method means you won’t have to use washing up liquid. For cleaning the waste shute; gently remove the pulp with a small blunt butter knife so as not to scratch the surface.

Q: Can I put the Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso parts into a dishwasher?

A: The manufacturer does not recommend cleaning the Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso in the dishwater. The Juice Presso only takes a few seconds rinsing under warm water and a gentle scrub with a dish brush. We recommend that you always clean your Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso as soon as you’ve finished using it.

Q: If my Ideahom Aojiro Juice Presso jams; how do I clear it?

A: We recommend that all produce should be cut to a size where it can just fall through the chute without needing to be shoved. 
If the machine does clog, then you can simply hit the reverse button for 2-3 seconds and this will unblock the offending fruit/vegetable and you can then continue juicing by again switching to forward.
